ARNea Phytodiagnostica, Ltd offers a complete catalogue of services for the detection of pathogens in different crops. Available tests include those listed in the catalogue ('Services') as well as pathogens of recent introduction and that will be available as soon as they are required. Your results will be sent in less than 48 hours in a reasonable, confidential and fast way.  

How to begin

In the first place, call us. Whether you would like to have a few plants analysed, or you would carry out a control program in a greenhouse, contact us to receive a customized approach and service. As soon as the results are available we will contact you by fax or telephone in a confidential way. In addition, we will advise you on how to interpret these data and on how the information acquired may help you.  Please, do not doubt in asking us any question you may have (conditions, prices).

How to send us the samples

Using small-size auto sealed plastic bags, identifying each one by name or number (that are those that we will use in our informs) and any other observation you made on the crop: i.e. position in the greenhouse. If symptoms on leaves, stems, buds, etc., are observed, as malformations, mosaic, chlorosis, use these parts as samples. If there are no symptoms use young buds and leaves. The analysis requires only a few grams of plant material, not the whole plant...

Do not delay in sending us the samples. If necessary store them in the refrigerator, never in the freezer. Do not use ice; this would cause destruction of plant tissue and the denaturation of viruses, making them unidentifiable.

Send the samples by express postal service and include the following data:

- Complete name, direction, telephone, fax and electronic mail if possible.

- Type of sample (crop, variety, state)

- Viral test required

- Please, indicate if you prefer to be informed by telephone or by fax (in any case your results will be notified by ordinary mail).

Our report

Once we received the samples, they will be registered and processed. We will give the results by telephone or fax in a time limit of 48 hours (*), besides the result form by ordinary mail.

All the results will be confidential.

Data that you will receive in your report

- Your personal data

- Date of reception of the samples

- Type of trials required and number and identification of the samples.

- Result of the analyses in an ordered form. In case of positive of results they will be clearly indicated.

- Sign of the person responsible that carried out the analysis, that will be the person that you should contact in case of doubts or of further inquiries.
